Two things were sure from the beginning: There should be some storage space next to the bed to put your stuff and a little platform where you enter the tent.
In the entrance of the bent, there is a small platform on which you can sit to undo your shoes, or just to sit. A smart in the process element we had added was the storage space underneath this platform to put your backpack for example. The fabrics we had used as a woven structure for both the bed and the storage space is from reused fire hoses.
